Job Title: Sample Processing Specialist
Location: 26 Davis Drive Research Triangle Park NC 27709 (100% onsite)
Total Regular Hours: 45 per week
Hours: tart Time: 6:00 AMto 3:30 PM; Lunch Time: 30 Minutes
Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday working 9 hours per day and a half day on Friday (4 hours)
Qualifications:
- Zero tolerance policy is strictly enforced.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED but a Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years experience in a production type environment is required.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain production quality and quantity.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of agriculture research samples.
- Inventory and order management support.
- Picking packing and shipping of agriculture samples.
- Record keeping and documentation per department guidelines.
- Support activities related to sample logistics.
- Requirements Proven record of reliability as a dependable team player that shows up to work each day.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices.
- Ability to adhere to all safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE.
