Statement of Duties Physician-Neurology
- Provide a broad range of Neurology services by diagnosing and managing both inpatient and outpatient Veterans.
- Perform full neurological exams and supervise neurology residents/medical students as an inpatient consultant and in the neurology clinic.
- Complete all administrative work and documentation (notes and encounter forms) in a timely fashion in accordance with facility policy and bylaws.
- Deliver interventions throughout the full spectrum of neurology care (e.g. expected to maintain good diagnostic and therapeutic acumen).
- Be able to get an academic appointment with our affiliate hospital Augusta University Medical Center.
- Completes tasks and duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or supervisory alignment.
- Adheres to VHA and Medical Center policies and regulations as well as the Medical Staff bylaws.
- Adheres to the Medicine Departments goals of productivity bookability and utilization.
-Completes all mandatory training credentialing procedures and chart reviews
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Downtown
To qualify for this position you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement.
