We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! In this position you will performvarious unskilled and semi-skilled tasks to assist in the repair on waterlines valves hydrants and other related components; operates motorized equipment to assist in the repair and maintenance of County water and sewer line systems.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Operates jackhammers chain cutters power drills hand tools and other light equipment to assist with unskilled and semi-skilled repair and maintenance of water and sewer lines hydrants mains and related components.
- Operates truck to haul materials and assist with the installation and repair of water/sewer lines hydrants and other related components.
- Prepares and submits reports reflecting work performed materials used work orders.
- Returns streets laws etc. to original condition after completing assigned work projects (e.g. shovels soil lays seed patches asphalt etc.).
- May operate backhoe to load truck or perform other semi-skilled work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Training and/or work experience in maintenance of water/sewer lines hydrants mains and other related components.
- In operating jackhammer chain cutters etc. and maintenance practices.
- must obtain a valid Commercial Drivers License - Class A within six (6) months of employment.
- Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Regularly required to perform manual labor such as: lifting digging and climbing.
- Works in confined spaces and awkward positions that require bending and twisting.

- Monday-Friday general core hours 7:30 am -5:30 pm
