THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT REPAIRER INSPECTOR-TITLE 32 Position Description Number PDD1207000 and is part of the KY CSMS National Guard.

As a ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT REPAIRER INSPECTOR-TITLE 32 WGyou will troubleshoot perform maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment combat tactical and automotive vehicles. Troubleshoot repair and overhaul major systems. Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose the cause of mechanical failures. Remove and disassemble engines and major assemblies sub-assemblies components and systems. Independently perform repairs and maintenance functions by removing cleaning reinstalling or replacing defective parts of components and systems. Conduct readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and equipment. Perform operational inspections and ensure vehicles and equipment are properly serviced. May maintain and repair equipment to include removing and replacing components and elements. Perform other duties as assigned.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
Wear of the military uniform.
Position may require a pre-employment physical.
May be subject to furlough actions.
May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Must obtain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
This position is located on a tobacco free facility.
This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
Experience removing and replacing aircraft parts accessories and components and making adjustments and settings according to established specifications. Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 18 months experience utilizing principles basic functions and application of theory of electronic systems or equipment. Experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems. Experience in making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment. Experience in using complex test equipment such as deviation meters complex special test panels etc. Experience which demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals specifications and publications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates (Example 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981 or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981) work schedule and hours worked per week of employment.
