Position Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating a team while actively contributing to project and production tasks. This role combines hands-on operational work with leadership responsibilities ensuring timely delivery quality standards and efficient team performance. As a Team Lead your role is to drive team performance while embodying our purpose: to contribute to our clients success through our expertise and Mauritian culture. You will lead with a strong customer focus encourage clear and respectful communication and promote technical excellence through continuous learning and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct oversight and support to team members by managing performance allocating resources effectively mentoring and facilitating career growth through regular feedback training and development opportunities.
- Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with long-term business goals driving technology decisions evaluating new tools and platforms establishing technical standards and ensuring innovation adoption.
- Support sales efforts through technical expertise solution design proposal writing and client technical presentations.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to manage interdependencies ensure seamless project coordination and align delivery with client objectives and KPIs/SLAs.
- Oversee system reliability incident response process optimization and operational excellence while ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs through stakeholder collaboration quality assurance and change management.
- Manage budget allocation resource procurement and ensure team adherence to security regulatory and quality standards.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and gather client feedback on performance delivery and progression plans to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in project execution and production activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for key clients managing escalations ensuring satisfaction and building strong long-term relationships by understanding client needs and expectations.
- Promote continuous improvement by encouraging agile ways of working automation and reusable development assets.
- Lead technical development across RICEFW RAP OData SAPUI5 and S/4HANA clean-core extensibility. Review and guide complex designs while enforcing coding standards performance optimization and audit readiness.
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs through strong stakeholder collaboration and quality assurance.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5 years of experience in technical roles within SAP ecosystems with at least 2 years in a leadership supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Proven experience delivering projects in fastpaced clientfacing environments preferably within consulting or managed services.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- SAP RICEFW development
- SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- OData services
- Solid understanding of SAP system architecture integration patterns performance optimization and code quality standards.
