QA Functional Engineer

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a QA Analyst with previous experience in a lead or coordination role (desired).
• Solid experience with API testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (nice to have).
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications including device farms emulators simulators and physical devices for iOS and Android.
• Working knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies test planning and risk-based testing.
• Ability to define quality metrics and evaluate testing effectiveness.
• Strong communication organization and leadership skills.
• Advanced English proficiency as you will work directly with US-based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Provide quality assurance services to assigned clients by designing implementing and executing test cases.
• Develop review and maintain test policies standards and testing strategies across projects.
• Plan testing activities based on test objectives risks and project scope.
• Coordinate test plans with Project Managers Development Managers Agile teams and other stakeholders.
• Lead the analysis design implementation and execution of tests monitoring progress results and exit criteria (Definition of Done).
• Prepare and deliver test progress reports and test summary reports to stakeholders.
• Define and track quality and testing metrics to measure progress and product quality.
• Report defects findings and ambiguities supporting prioritization and criticality definition.
• Support the selection implementation and improvement of testing tools and processes.
• Promote and advocate for quality best practices and the QA discipline across the organization.
• Coach and mentor QA team members to strengthen technical skills and testing maturity.
