Job Summary
Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) in the IT Division S6 Department of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
- You will supervise the daily performance of IT personnel to include Marines Civil Service personnel and contractors.
- You will develop a variety of correspondence (e.g. command orders directives standard operating procedures reports briefing point papers positions paper and talking papers etc.)
- You will maintain lines of communication with other installations G6/S6 staffs throughout the Marine Corps.
- You will plan and perform all functions for the delivery of network services throughout the region by developing project Plans of Action and Milestone timelines budgetary requirement system/network resources usage policies and procedures.
- You will provide direction guidance and develop policy for local telecommunication network and system operating units centers or network control facilities.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing policy related to local telecommunication network and system operating units centers or network control facilities; AND managing short- and long-range planning efforts to accomplish the organizations mission goals and objectives.

- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.
