(Senior) Backend Engineer Enpal Financial Services FinTech (fmx)

• Take full end-to-end ownership of designing building and scaling backend services and systems using TypeScript NestJS and PostgreSQL.
• Design and deliver reliable scalable APIs and core services that power critical business and product functionality.
• Own deployments contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable and secure production operations.
• Write clean testable and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance scalability and long-term system health.
• Monitor backend systems troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvements in reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural decisions around service design data models and integrations.
• Mentor and guide other engineers and help shape engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript NestJS and PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Proven experience designing and building APIs and distributed services.
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling performance optimization and data integrity.
• Experience owning backend systems end-to-end - from concept and design to deployment and long-term maintenance.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and cloud environments (AWS GCP or similar).
• Strong commitment to code quality testing practices and scalable system design.
