Job Summary

As an HR Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and supporting business performance at Eurofins GSC Spain. Acting as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR expert you will partner closely with leaders managers and employees to ensure people strategies processes and policies enable sustainable growth engagement and operational excellence.

This role offers broad exposure across the entire employee lifecycle strong involvement in employee relations and compliance and the opportunity to influence leadership capability culture and wellbeing in a complex international environment aligned with Eurofins global standards.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing hands-on end-to-end HR support to Eurofins GSC Spain while acting as a trusted partner to managers and leaders.

In this role the HRBPs day-to-day work combines:

  • Business and manager support advising leaders on people-related decisions organisational changes performance and employee management.
  • Employee lifecycle management covering onboarding contractual changes payroll coordination employee queries and offboarding.
  • Employee relations and compliance acting as the first point of contact for ER matters managing disciplinary actions terminations and labour conciliations and coordinating with external legal advisors when required in line with Spanish labour law and global standards.
  • Operational HR delivery ensuring accuracy of HR data documentation reporting and audit readiness.
  • Learning engagement and wellbeing support coordinating training activities and contributing to engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Health & safety and risk management supporting legal compliance and working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data and reporting providing HR insights dashboards and analysis to support decision-making.

In addition the HRBP plays an active role in:

  • Cross-functional and statutory HR projects including participation in the Works Council Equality Plan Health & Safety Committee and other employee representative forums ensuring follow-up and implementation of agreed actions.
  • Internal communication maintaining HR communication channels supporting internal announcements and ensuring clear consistent people-related messaging across the organisation.
  • Other local HR responsibilities such as facilities coordination purchase orders (POs) local expenses and ad-hoc operational support linked to office management and employee experience.

 

The HRBP works closely with local leadership payroll external advisors and Eurofins HR teams globally to ensure consistent compliant and effective HR practices that support both business performance and a positive employee experience.

 


Qualifications :

Experience:

  • 5 years of progressive HR experience ideally in a generalist or HR Business Partner role.
  • Experience working within Spanish labour law and interacting with works councils and employee representatives.
  • Fluent Spanish (mandatory). Strong English skills required to operate in an international environment.
  • Previous experience in international matrix or shared service environments is highly valued.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Labour Relations Psychology Business Administration or a related field.
  • Additional HR labour law or people management certifications are a plus.
