Job Summary
Summary
Serves as a Commissary Contractor Monitor in a commissary store at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary stocking order-writing custodial receiving holding and/or other contracted services performed in a commissary.

- Conduct quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance.
- Provide comments and recommendations for additions deletions or changes to contractor services to ensure compliance with DeCA directives.
- Approve or rejects contractors work schedule and checks work for quality and timeliness.
- Maintain the stores space allocations program by such duties as designating to the contractor proper item shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or otherwise not identifiable.
- Advise commissary or contracted order writers.
- Act as the commissary managers representative during the night time hours to ensure government property is secure.
