Job Summary:

The Lead Spa Attendant is responsible for overseeing the Spa Attendant team members and the day-to-day operations of maintaining a clean organized and functional environment throughout the spa and fitness areas. They ensure the highest standards of hygiene and service by diligently overseeing the spas wet facilities (saunas steam rooms roman bath jacuzzi) locker rooms linen management and food and beverage offerings.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee a direct reports of 10 or more Attendants
  • Complete daily opening and closing duties for the fitness center and spa.
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism creating a positive and inviting atmosphere from the moment they enter the spa fitness center and wellness spaces.
  • Assist with check in at the wet facility area ensuring optimal booking flow and minimal wait times for guests.
  • Ensure the vanity showers ice buckets food stations and waiting areas are always tidy organized and aligned with the spas calming and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage and support the attendants in the linen running set up and restock as per operations requires.
  • Maintain the attendant storeroom and linen store take inventory of all amenities and linen flag to Supervisor or Assistant Manager for reordering.
  • Ensure all facilities are functional and in good working condition. Log Maximo or report any facility issues.
  • Provide exceptional five-star service to guests ensuring a personalized experience. Address guest inquiries concerns and requests promptly ensuring satisfaction at every stage of their visit.
  • Maintain accurate guest records process any F&B sales to guest bill payments and assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest profile notes sales in POS and tracking inventory.
  • Ensures that communication between attendant providers and reception team is consistent to ensure smooth operations and to relay guest preferences or special requests.
  • Adhere to all departmental SOPs and ensure all attendants follow the SOP eg: grooming standards serving drinks Master Key Sop Lost & Found Daily Checklists.
  • Conduct daily rotation weekly team buzz sessions and drive a healthy positive work environment.
  • Work with EVS Housekeeping and Facilities team to schedule deep cleaning flag issues and support the operations team.
  • Hit sales conversion targets and monthly financial goals of the services and retail aspects of the business as set by Spa Management.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings trainings as set out by Spa Management.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by Spa Management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • TAM Card
  • Food Handling Card
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a friendly welcoming environment.
  • Experience: 1 years of experience in luxury hospitality or 5-star Spa is preferred
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks such as scheduling guest tours locker management F&B service and retail sales in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling guest request treatment recommendations and any guest request.
  • Sales Acumen: Comfortable promoting and selling spa products and services to guests in a non-pushy consultative manner.
  • Professional Demeanor: A polished professional groomed appearance and positive attitude to represent the spas high standards.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with spa management software basic office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Physical Mental & Environmental Demands:

  • Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 8-hour shift).
  • Able to handle several tasks at once.
  • Able to lift and push heavy objects and maneuver towel bins in close quarters.
  • Light cleaning and spot cleaning required to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Unpacking and restocking inventory
  • Serving Food and Beverages
