PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The role of the CFO continues to expand as organizations strive to address the rapid geopolitical changes impacting our global economy. This evolution has driven up the demand for financial applications to the tune of $40.9B market size in 2022 according to IDC. At SAP we recognize the importance of the CFO in the overall transformation journey to SAP Business Suite and we want to help the achieve that vision by bringing together applications data and AI.
We are establishing the Global Finance & Quote-to-Cash Consumption Office to serve as a central accelerator for customer success the organization. This office will drive alignment with Customer Success Manager (CSM) roles by empowering them with training resources and strategic support while collaborating with cross-functional teams. It will lead adoption initiatives to increase feature utilization align solutions with customer needs and track metrics for continuous improvement.
The office will also strengthen customer relationships through targeted outreach advocacy programs and feedback mechanisms to inform product enhancements. Furthermore it will play a critical role in reducing churn by analyzing risks implementing retention strategies and monitoring customer health metrics.
We are looking for team members to join the Global Finance & Quote-to-Cash Consumption Office who will focus on driving adoption & consumption and product use. Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of Finance Quote-to-Cash products. They will work directly with the customer to improve customer satisfaction make sure customers use the solutions they have purchased and create lasting value for customers while reducing the risk of churn.
What Youll Do
As part of the Global Finance & Quote-to-Cash Consumption Office you will execute key programs that drive customer adoption increase feature utilization and foster long-term customer success. Your work will directly strengthen customer relationships and improve customer health by proactively addressing challenges such as churn and retention. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you will empower regional Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and drive meaningful impact within your responsible sub-solution including SAP Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC) and adjacent finance capabilities.
Your responsibilities include:
Build deep expertise across Finance & Quote-to-Cash including statutory accounting financial close tax reporting and compliance to serve as a trusted advisor to customers managing complex regulatory and accounting requirements.
Engage with customers 1:1 to align compliance accounting and reporting capabilities with business outcomes statutory obligations and finance transformation goals.
Drive adoption consumption and value realization of the solution ensuring customers actively use capabilities that support accurate financial postings compliant document flows and audit-ready reporting.
Monitor customer health by assessing usage accounting consistency compliance readiness and regulatory coverage identifying risks early and executing proactive retention and churn-prevention actions.
Partner with account teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities driven by expanding accounting scope regulatory footprint or complexity of financial operations.
Deliver customer enablement sessions workshops and best-practice sharing focused on standardizing finance processes improving close quality and embedding compliance into day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with product teams to provide structured feedback on accounting impacts of regulatory changes country-specific requirements and adoption challenges influencing solution improvements.
Track and report on adoption metrics usage trends and customer success KPIs including document volumes transaction coverage accounting process activation and compliance status.
Support customers through key lifecycle milestones such as onboarding go-live period-end close regulatory rollouts and expansion to additional jurisdictions.
Represent the voice of the customer internally ensuring alignment across sales product and support teams on accounting integrity compliance priorities and adoption blockers.
What Youll Bring:
7 years of experience in consulting presales or sales of complex enterprise software with expertise in at least one domain such as Accounting & Financial Close Financial Planning Working Capital Management GRC & Global Tax Order-to-Cash or adjacent Finance & Quote-to-Cash solutions.
Strong understanding of Finance & Quote-to-Cash processes including the intersection of accounting tax compliance and operational finance and the business value they deliver.
Deep knowledge of global tax and statutory compliance with the ability to act as a trusted tax advisor guiding customers through regulatory complexity (e-invoicing statutory reporting continuous transaction controls) and translating requirements into scalable solution adoption.
Ability to identify adoption and consumption opportunities assess customer health and proactively manage churn and retention risks.
Ability to define product performance and success metrics and develop clear compelling enablement and adoption materials for field teams.
Strong analytical skills in data reporting and interpretation with the ability to derive insights and translate them into actionable adoption consumption and retention plans.
Interest in building experience designing and implementing scalable global customer success programs particularly in regulated finance and compliance-driven environments.
Exceptional organizational communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex accounting tax and compliance concepts clearly and concisely to align stakeholders and drive execution.
Strong business acumen with the ability to engage credibly at CFO CTO CIO Head of Tax Product Management Sales and other CxO levels serving as a strategic advisor across finance tax and technology domains.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Math Business Administration Information Systems or a related field of study
