Job Summary

The HR Manager at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all human resources functions to support our team in Honolulu HI. This position requires a dynamic individual who can handle employee relations recruitment compliance and training ensuring a positive and productive work environment. While a bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is often preferred it is not always strictly necessary if the candidate has proven experience and demonstrated competence in the role. We value practical experience skills and professional certifications that qualify a person for effective HR management enabling flexibility depending on the candidate pool and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures consistent with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR matters.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Coordinate employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Lead initiatives for employee training development and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred but not required if accompanied by relevant experience and demonstrated competence in HR management.
  • Proven experience in HR roles with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g. PHR SHRM-CP) is advantageous.
