This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Global Business Operations Division Command Support Branch (RN13) at Scott AFB IL.
In order to qualify for this position you must meet both requirements described below.
Individual Occupational Requirement:
Undergraduate or graduate education with a major of study in engineering industrial arts property management or business administration.
OR
I have experience equivalent to managing a maintenance program for office or apartment building complexes hospitals recreation facilities military or other special-purpose installations including planning maintenance activities and developing preventive maintenance programs; AND Experience equivalent to conducting surveillance activities over construction and maintenance operations performed by a variety of private contractors including reviewing project plans and specifications for workability informing contractors of construction and reporting requirements and supervising operations for conformance with project plans; in addition to Experience equivalent to performing maintenance or construction work including estimating material and labor costs for a variety of construction or maintenance projects (such as construction or maintenance of brick frame structural steel reinforced concrete and other type structures ranging from one- or two-story buildings to larger structures) directing actual work operations and maintaining appropriate contacts with the organization funding the project.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-09 your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience including volunteer work and Military service that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position qualifying experience is defined as: Assisting facility managers with budgeting managing space inventorying property coordinating maintenance and managing repairs for essential building support systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and specialized environmental systems. Fulfilling a Contracting Officer Representative role by writing Statements of Work ensuring the efficient execution of contracts and adhering to facility requirements.

GG-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education Masters or equivalent graduate degree may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement.
