Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dependable individual to join their San Mateo CA team as a Staff Associate Psychopharmacology for their clinical program.

As part of the Clinical Administration team you will play a critical role in supporting clinicians patients and families throughout the treatment process by providing administrative functions. Your contributions will help create a seamless experience for patients and their families while supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality psychopharmacological care.

This is a non-exempt full-time fully on-site position located in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo). The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality patient experience for families receiving care.
  • Manage clinicians calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.
  • Collect initial patient information perform intakes and coordinate services.
  • Check in patient appointments and process daily billing through the EMR system.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.
  • Manage prescription requests through the prescription inbox working closely with pharmacies and insurance companies to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle prior authorizations and appeals for medication requests.
  • Provide psychopharmacology support coverage for additional team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of administrative or office experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Special Considerations:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $57000 - $62000 USD annually.
