Electro-Mechanical Technician

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for the wiring start-up testing and final verification of laser cutting machines to ensure full electrical and mechanical functionality in accordance with clients quality standards. This role is ideal for a self-motivated detail-oriented technician who takes pride in precision work thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is eager to learn and grow with advanced laser technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical and mechanical inspections to verify laser cutting machines meet all quality and

  performance standards.

• Wire start up and test electro-mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and cutting accuracy.

• Diagnose analyze and troubleshoot electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and software-related

  issues.

• Start up disk and fiber laser systems and validate cutting quality to company specifications.

• Prepare approved and tested machines for shipment ensuring proper documentation and packaging

  requirements are met.

• Read interpret and work from blueprints schematics wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

• Work confidently with high- and low-voltage electrical systems as well as pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.

• Verify test results meet required tolerances and document findings through quality reports.

• Stay current with engineering change notices (ECNs) and technical product updates.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in accordance with company standards.

• Participate in meetings and implement approved actions and process improvements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives including SYNCHRO 5S and Continuous Improvement Process

  (CIP).

• Follow and enforce all company policies safety guidelines and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly machine start-up and testing.

• Strong working knowledge of industrial machine tools and laser systems.

• Experience with electrical systems (high and low voltage) electronics pneumatics hydraulics and industrial

  software.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics parts lists and machine documentation.

• Familiarity with machine operations applications and quality control processes.

• Proven troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.

• Self-driven mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
