Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Miami Lakes Florida. This 12-month contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational and financial analyses that drive critical business decisions in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed decision-making within the business unit
- Lead medium to large special projects involving quantitative and qualitative research
- Design and modify business processes to improve operational efficiency
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel Power BI and SQL
- Apply standardized tools and techniques to collect analyze and present data for business insights
- Work extensively with data analysis market intelligence and modeling to support business strategies
- Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling locational analysis segment analysis growth modeling and propensity modeling
- Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints
- Drive projects forward to build a more complex customer data environment with enhanced tools and capabilities
- Support business performance tracking through advanced analytics and reporting
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Economics Information Systems or related field preferred
- Experience: 0-5 years of experience in business analysis data management or process improvement
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel Power BI and SQL required
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Location: Must be able to work on-site in Juno Beach FL (No remote work available)
