Job Summary
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems for building construction projects.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings specifications codes and standards.
- Review and approve method statements inspection and test plans (ITPs) material submittals and technical documents.
- Conduct site inspections witness tests and monitor workmanship quality across all disciplines (civil architectural and finishes).
- Coordinate closely with design consultants contractors and supervision teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs) ensure corrective actions and verify proper close-out.
- Support project planning and scheduling activities to ensure quality objectives align with project milestones.
- Prepare and submit quality reports inspection records and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines while maintaining required quality standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in building construction supervision including experience with engineering consultancy firms.
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- MMUP Certification Grade A or B (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures construction methodologies and international standards.
- Proven experience in project planning scheduling and construction supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with consultants and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Strong communication coordination and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure on active construction sites.
