The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Associate Instructor in Digital Graphic Design for the Williamson Campus.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Digital Graphic Design Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include but are not limited to typography color theory print and webpage layout digital illustration photography and image editing. The Associate Instructor must monitor grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the colleges student records management software; create and maintain lesson plans and course materials as needed; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports and assist in recruiting new students. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. Some travel may be required. This position is full-time and reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Compliance. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Classes are taught at the Williamson Campus located at 1228 Liberty Pike Franklin TN. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY: $50894-$61074 annually ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
