Job Summary
Job Title: BMS Test Engineer / BMS QA Engineer
Experience: 45 Years
Location: Bangalore KA

We are looking for a skilled BMS Test Engineer with strong experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) manual testing and exposure to automation testing. The role involves validating BMS applications supporting commissioning activities and working closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of BMS applications including functional system integration and regression testing.
- Understand BMS domain concepts such as HVAC fire & safety systems energy management and building automation workflows.
- Participate in BMS commissioning support including validation of site configurations and point-to-point checks.
- Design and execute test cases test scenarios and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
- Identify log track and retest defects using Jira ensuring timely closure and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with developers product owners and system engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Contribute to test planning estimation and sprint-level QA activities.
- Support or contribute to test automation efforts (good to have) including identifying regression candidates for automation.
- Ensure adherence to quality processes documentation standards and best testing practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 45 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on BMS domain.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing (test case creation execution defect management).
- Good understanding of Building Management Systems and related subsystems (HVAC alarms sensors controllers).
- Experience or exposure to BMS commissioning activities and site-level validation.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology and sprint-based delivery.
- Strong experience using Jira for defect tracking and test management.
- Good analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with test automation tools (any UI/API automation frameworks).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Experience working in large-scale or enterprise BMS deployments.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Electronics or a related field.
