Hardware Engineering Test Solutions includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements test system design flight simulations hardware-in-the-loop computer-in-the-loop advanced engineering prototyping technology flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles environmental testing environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management.

We are hands-on designing with the latest technology and tools and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.

As part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) integration security consultation troubleshooting sustainment and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.

This position is 100% ONSITE in McKinney TX

What You Will Do

• Administer/Support Code Management Tools including but not limited to Azure DevOps Git GitLab BitBucket

• Supporting Automation Platforms including but not limited to Ansible Jenkins Puppet

• Administer Windows/Linux Servers

• Developing Cybersecurity compliant Test Environments/Test Equipment (Linux Windows)

• Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware.

• Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity functionality compliance and test integrity.

• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate localized Development Environments to Enterprise Environments.

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure Test Environment compliance (using tools such as Nessus Splunk Ivanti System Hardening.

• Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE

• Support any and all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to the TE.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience

• Experience with systems administration of Windows or Linux Server Operating Systems (in Enterprise Environments)

• Experience Administering any of the following Code Management Tools (Azure DevOps Git GitLab and/or BitBucket)

• Experience Administering any of the following DevOps Automation Tools (Ansible Jenkins and/or Puppet)

Qualifications We Prefer

• DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec CISM etc.)

• Experience with Windows Linux (operating systems in desktop and server environments)

• Experience working as a System Engineer with an understanding of managing Operational Technology and/or test systems in a production environment

• Experience with SQL Server MySQL Postgres IIS and/or Apache

• Troubleshooting ability with all Microsoft Windows and Linux systems to quickly return system to operational status

• Customer service and training skills including oral and technical written communications

• Independent problem-solving ability of hardware/software issues

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
