Program Duration
Our internship program runs approximately40 hoursper week from June 1stthrough mid-August. This role is based in Eagan MN and requires at least 2 days per week on-site.
The Impact You Will Have
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring aBI Analytics Internfor Summer 2026. In this role you will apply knowledge of mathematics statistics and reporting to operations data. You will generate and report data used for daytoday operations and support various teams including Operations Government Programs Finance and Provider Relations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in BI Analytics while working on realworld projects that directlyimpactour business and members.
Your Responsibilities
Develop plans analyze data and report results to a senior analyst to support informed decisionmaking.
Assistin designing and building strategic actionable insights using visual analytics tools.
Prepare reports and analysis toidentifyand interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Support the development of reporting programs using various reporting and analytic tools integrating multiple data sources.
Collaborate with team members on using data in new and innovative ways.
Required Skills and Experiences
To be considered for this internship you must meet the followingminimumrequirements:
Must be enrolled in an educational program for the duration of the internship.
Completed at least one year (2 semesters or credits equivalent) by the start of the internship.
Currently enrolled in a bachelors program inMathematics Statistics Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
Professional demeanor positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
Willingness to take initiative and learn new concepts and technical skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment including being onsite at least 2 days per week.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
Coursework in Modeling/Data Visualization Financial Analytics or Marketing Analytics.
Experience withDatabricksPowerBI SSRS SSMS SSIS or SQL queries.
Strong interest in Data Analytics.
Proficiencyin MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting technical information.

Compensation and Benefits
$22.50 - $23.50 - $24.50 HourlyPay is based on several factors which vary based on position including skills ability and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
