Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Sterling VA 20165
Assignment Duration: 18 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in a structured setting. The RBT will work directly with individuals to support behavioral communication and daily living skill development under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in accordance with individualized treatment plans
Implement behavior intervention plans reinforcement systems and skill acquisition programs
Support development of communication social academic adaptive and daily living skills
Collect accurate real-time data on behavior and skill progress
Assist with behavior reduction strategies while maintaining a safe and positive environment
Collaborate with BCBAs educators therapists and caregivers to ensure consistency across settings
Communicate observations progress and challenges to supervising clinicians
Participate in team meetings training sessions and ongoing professional development
Maintain compliance with ethical standards safety protocols and confidentiality requirements
Perform additional related duties as needed to support program operations
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
Knowledge of ABA principles data collection methods and behavior management strategies
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to follow structured treatment plans and adapt to changing needs
Physical capability to assist clients during sessions when required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in school-based clinical or in-home ABA settings
Familiarity with electronic data collection systems or EHR platforms
Educational background in psychology education special education or a related field
