Job Summary
A welcoming and academically focused 1118 secondary school in Wetherby is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department. This role is ideal for an ECT who is passionate about language learning and is looking to begin their career in a school with strong systems excellent mentoring and a positive staff culture.

The Opportunity
You will teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering a carefully structured curriculum that develops students listening speaking reading and writing skills progressively.
At KS3 lessons focus on phonics vocabulary acquisition and sentence-building helping students gain confidence in speaking from an early stage. At GCSE teaching is structured around clear exam preparation retrieval practice and regular opportunities for extended writing and translation.
As an ECT youll be supported in developing effective classroom routines assessment strategies and approaches to teaching grammar in a clear and accessible way.
