Year 3 Teacher – Bristol

We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bristol starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 and enjoys delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils academically socially and emotionally.

The school has a strong ethos of inclusion collaboration and high expectations. Staff work together to create a structured stimulating and nurturing environment where pupils feel confident motivated and supported. Senior leadership is approachable and provides mentoring guidance and professional development opportunities to help staff excel.

As a Year 3 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will foster independence resilience and a love of learning while ensuring each pupil makes excellent progress. Working closely with teaching assistants colleagues and parents you will provide personalised support for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum

• Deliver engaging literacy numeracy and foundation subject lessons

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEND and EAL

• Promote independence resilience and positive learning behaviours

• Maintain a structured inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records

• Provide targeted interventions to support pupil attainment

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants colleagues and senior leaders

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

• Contribute to staff meetings CPD sessions and whole-school initiatives

• Support enrichment activities school events and extra-curricular opportunities

• Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 ideally Year 3

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Be reflective proactive and adaptable

• Show a strong commitment to inclusion safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

• Work effectively as part of a professional supportive team
