The Role
Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5
Planning and delivering challenging well-structured lessons that stretch and support high-achieving pupils
Delivering practical lessons with a strong focus on accuracy safety and conceptual understanding
Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs competitions and academic extension
Working collaboratively within a strong and well-established Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 highly desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for academic excellence
High expectations for pupil behaviour engagement and outcomes
A calm organised and confident teaching approach
Willingness to contribute to the wider academic life of a grammar school
