Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bath. The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons with clear learning outcomes
Developing strong classroom routines and positive behaviour management
Supporting practical science lessons with a focus on safety and understanding
Assessing pupil progress and using feedback to inform teaching
Working closely with experienced colleagues within a collaborative Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to qualify as an ECT
A degree in a Science-related subject
The ability to teach general Science across KS3 and KS4
A positive reflective approach to teaching and learning
Willingness to learn take feedback on board and develop professionally
Strong communication skills and a commitment to pupil progress
