Job Summary
Leidoswas awardedthe U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking aDevSecOpsengineeracross AWS Azure Google and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experiencetomodernize a leading global-scalemulti-cloud environmentin support of a critical mission supporting USAF system resiliency security and cost effectiveness.
Location:
Thisposition will behybrid remote. Candidateswillbe requiredto work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will belocatednear Hanscom AFB (Boston MA)or work in Huntsville AL.
Primary ResponsibilitiesCould Include:
This individual willbe responsible fortechnical planning design development integration verification and sustainment of secure cloud-native systems. The individual applies systems engineering principles to hardware software and networked environments supporting the full system lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and operational support.
Performsystems requirements analysis functional analysis and requirements allocation for cloud-based and hybrid environments.
Design implement and support secure CI/CD pipelines to enable automated scalable software delivery.
Supportthe integration ofDevSecOpspipelines across cloud platforms including AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Developmaintain and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
Deploy configure integrate and support applications within cloud and hybrid environments.
Assistwith the configuration operation and sustainment of container platforms such as Kubernetes Docker and OpenShift.
Analyzeand support system availability scalability performance and resiliency across distributed cloud systems.
Contributeto infrastructure modernization initiatives system upgrades and continuous improvement efforts.
Implementand support automated security capabilities including vulnerability scanning SAST/DAST container security and compliance automation.
Monitorsystem health using logging and monitoring tools and support incident troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution.
Supportverification validation system testing and quality assurance activities for cloud-based solutions.
Createandmaintaintechnical documentation system diagrams and operational procedures.
Collaboratewith developers QA security operations and customer stakeholders to influence solution design processes and technical approaches.
Applyand enforce establishedDevSecOpsstandards systems engineering processes and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelorsdegree with 48 years of relevant experience orMastersdegree with 26 years of relevant experience.Additionalexperience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
InterimSecret clearanceto start; ability to obtain andmaintaina Secret clearance.
U.S.citizenship.
CompTIASecurity or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).
Strongunderstanding of systems engineering principles andDevSecOpspractices.
Experiencesupporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS Azure GCP or OCI).
Experiencewith CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Familiaritywith container technologies including Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Proficiencyin at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python Bash Java Go).
Solidunderstanding of Linux/Unix systems networking fundamentals and version control (Git).
Strongcollaboration communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experiencesupporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g. Cloud One Platform One).
Familiaritywith Zero Trust architectures and security concepts.
Cloudprovider certifications (AWS Azure Google or Oracle).
Experiencewith monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana Splunk or ELK.
Exposureto security scanning tools compliance frameworks andDevSecOpsautomation.
Industrycertifications such as CKAD KCNA AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWSSysAdmin AWS Advanced Networking AWS Security Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
