The Diagnostic Technologist Outpatient s primary responsibilities include the positioning of the chest hand wrist forearm elbow knee foot or ankle in preparation for x-ray. The Diagnostic Technologist performs imaging procedures at a level not requiring direct supervision operates X-ray equipment processes images and documents into PACS. The Diagnostic Technologist provides basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse. They may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Patient care would include: obtaining vital signs placing patients in exam rooms obtaining specimens including blood draws if qualified preparing patients for clinician evaluation and assisting clinician. The Outpatient Diagnostic Technologist will also see that the area is orderly and well stocked with supplies and equipment. May also float to Main Radiology as needed. Must have: - Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services State of California (CRT) - Current CPR Certification - California issued Fluoroscopy Permit - Current ARRT licensure - EPIC EMR experience - Previous traveler experience perferred
Shift: 12-hour shift 8am start time Weekends required
