Role: SAP Functional Analyst Manufacturing (PP/MM)
Location: Texas - USA
Type: Fulltime/Direct HIRE
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to support and extend our SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing implementation. This role will play a critical part in both the ongoing Explore/Build activities for Manufacturing and in preparing the organization for long-term operational support and continuous improvement.
This position will partner closely with Manufacturing Supply Chain Procurement IT and external partners/Systems Integrator resources to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with our North American ERP roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SAP functional SME for Manufacturing-related processes (e.g. Production Planning Manufacturing Execution integration inventory movements costing touchpoints).
- Lead requirement gathering process design and fit-to-standard discussions with business stakeholders.
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing functionality in alignment with global templates and standards.
- Collaborate with Logistics Procurement Finance and OTC teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
- Support testing activities (SIT UAT) including test script development execution and defect resolution.
- Assist with cutover planning go-live readiness and hypercare support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation post go-live.
Qualifications
- 7 years of SAP functional experience with strong focus on Manufacturing (PP/MM or similar).
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes (Forecasting MRP Production Planning and Orders and shop floor integration (MES) concepts.
- Experience working with external partners/Systems Integrators and internal IT teams.
- Ability to operate independently while aligning to a broader ERP program governance model.
