Job Summary: Work with existing Environment Health & Safety (EHS) professionals and onsite business personnel in semiconductor manufacturing operations to implement programs designed to ensure worker health and safety protection of the environment compliance with regulatory requirements and reduction of risk. Based on qualifications experience and field of study opportunities exist in:
- environmental engineering
- pollution prevention
- chemical treatment and recycling systems
- occupational health and safety
- fire prevention and protection systems
- industrial hygiene
- hazardous exposure prevention
- ergonomics and body mechanics
Work may include the collection and analysis of data review and interpretation of regulations interaction with work teams and production personnel and the development and implementation of technical and non-technical solutions. The intern will work with experienced EHS staff including personnel holding licenses and registrations as professional engineers certified safety professional and/or certified industrial hygienist.
Qualifications: Completed freshman year of college course work at a minimum. Pursuing a college degree in engineering environmental science safety or industrial hygiene. Only students returning toclasses after the internshipgraduating after the internshipor pursuing another degree program immediately after the internshipare able to be considered.
