Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer/ Developer to join our Digital Imaging (Photoshop Lightroom) Data Science Team who is passionate about data and driving the direction of products that allow millions of people bring their creativity to light. Working alongside a robust team of Data Scientists and Engineers you will build a data architecture that supports accurate and efficient decision making. Stitching a large volume of data together across multiple sources you will develop implement scalable data pipelines and self-service dashboards that highlight actionable insights. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong data infrastructure data architecture skills proven success working with large datasets across multiple business units and a vision for driving BI services in a fluid environment. Skills / Experience

8 years of experience working with large scale data developing innovative data solutions in a Cloud environment
6 years of experience on SQL BI Platforms (ie. Power BI/Tableau/Looker) and Python
6 years of experience on Data warehousing ETL/ELT processes and data integration platforms (i.e. Airflow MuleSoft SnapLogic)
Experience with modern cloud platforms (i.e. Azure AWS GCP)
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

Role / Job Description

Data modeling concepts and database design methodologies; Build and maintain dashboards to track product and user health
Partner closely with Product Management Product Marketing and Growth to drive actionable data requirements
Proactively identify usage trends and communicate relevant insights to assist product decision-making
Automate and optimize data pipelines using SQL and/or Python-based ETL Frameworks
Maintain technical standards and platform documentation (i.e. data dictionary style guide ERD)
Assist in growing the business usage of Business Intelligence tools to drive efficiency in reporting
Diagnose platform performance gaps and provide recommendations to improve scale
Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code
Analytical mindset; Provides regular updates proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities
Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps
Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking; Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members
Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders
Communication approach: verbal emails and instant messages
