Timings: 8am - 5pm
Hybrid schedule: In office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday
Overtime: Must be open to OT during end of quarter or year-end due to increased order volume

Job Description

The Data Specialist is responsible for preparing loading editing and packaging technical data products used in petrophysical geological and borehole reservoir analysis. This role supports data quality archiving and secure delivery using internal software and standardized procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Archive team by transferring data to archive systems using in-house software
Load digital data and perform quality checks to ensure data integrity
Prepare data through:
- Depth matching
- Splicing and merging files
- Basic image and log normalization
- Possible dip picking
Create final data composites based on interpreted products
Manage digital data delivery via physical media or web-based platforms
Ensure accurate secure and timely data transmission
Follow defined processes and repeat daily job functions consistently

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work closely with a small team (approx. 4 members)
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with high accuracy
No prior experience required on-the-job training provided
