Nashville General Hospital is hiring an Director of Operations for Ambulatory for full-time Day!
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Strategic Management:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to Practice Managers and Nurse Managers to ensure alignment with the clinics mission vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to enhance clinic efficiency patient care and service offerings.
  • Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence among all clinic staff.
  • Mentor and develop leadership skills within the management team promoting professional growth and succession planning.
  1. Clinical and Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the clinic ensuringhigh standardsof patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and refine clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operations.
  • Ensure seamless integration and coordination of services across all clinic areas including procedural areas like endoscopy andcathlab.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of clinical performance and operational workflows toidentifyand address areas for improvement.
  1. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance programs tomonitorand improve patient care quality and safety.
  • Lead andparticipatein regular audits inspections and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance clinical outcomes.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop manage and oversee the clinics budget ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Monitor financial performance analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identifyopportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement without compromising patient care quality.
  • Oversee billing coding and reimbursement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  1. Policy Review and Development:
  • Lead the review and development of clinical and administrative policies to ensure they are current relevant and effective.
  • Ensure that all staff are well-informed and trainedonupdated policies and procedures.
  • Develop policies to address emerging healthcare trends regulatory changes and best practices.
  1. Community Engagement and Outreach:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach programs to increase patient volume and community awareness of clinic services.
  • Establish andmaintainstrategic relationships with local community organizations stakeholders and healthcare providers.
  • Organize andparticipatein health education workshops wellness events and community health initiatives.
  • Utilize various channels to promote clinic services and attract new patients.
  1. Patient Relations and Advocacy:
  • Champion a patient-centered approach in all clinic activities ensuring a positive and compassionate patient experience.
  • Address patient concerns complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Advocate for patient needs and preferences in all aspects of clinic operations.
  1. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration Nursing Business Administration or a related field;Masters Degreepreferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare administration experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in managing ambulatory care and specialty clinics including procedural areas such as endoscopy andcathlab.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic management abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • Proventrack recordof driving operational efficiency and clinical excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations accreditation standards and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiencyin data analytics and performance improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in policy review development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with the community and build strategic partnerships.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time executive position with potential for extended hours based on clinic needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Primarily works in a clinical environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases.
  • Requires frequent standing walking and the ability tolift upto 25 pounds.
