About Worsley AluminaWorsley Alumina is an integrated bauxite mine alumina refinery and port operation located in Western Australias South West region. The operation is creating essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future while offering employees the opportunity to live and work close to stunning coastlines scenic trails jarrah forests and the food and wine heartland of the South West and Peel regions.
This role is based at the Boddington operation and offers the benefit of being home every night.
The OpportunitySouth32 Worsley Alumina is seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Electrical Third Year to join the Boddington team on a full time basis. This position is offered as a two year fixed term contract.
Applicants must have successfully completed both first and second year training requirements of the Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.
The role will commence on a four day roster before transitioning to a shift roster. Please note that accommodation is not provided on site and this is a drive in drive out position. Employees are ideally located within an hours drive of Boddington.
Key Responsibilities- Continue developing automotive electrical trade skills under the supervision of qualified tradespeople
- Perform automotive electrical maintenance and repair tasks in a large industrial environment
- Apply fault finding and diagnostic techniques
- Maintain high standards of safety and comply with workplace health and safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Contribute positively to a safety focused and collaborative team culture

- Successful completion of first and second year units of AUR30320 Certificate IIIin Automotive Electrical Technology as an apprentice
