Position Summary
This position will serve as Radiopharmacist for the Biomedical Research Imaging Center ( BRIC ) at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. This includes overall responsibility for the preparation and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals for both research and clinical studies. The Radiopharmacist will prepare verify and deliver diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in support of research and clinical studies within Molecular Imaging & Therapeutics and the Positron Emission Tomography Department. The Radiopharmacist will develop the required SOPs consistent with the 21 CFR 212 for the operation of the cyclotron and radiochemistry facility as well as maintain and review that daily operation of the BRIC radiochemistry and cyclotron facility are consistent with 21 CFR 212. Additionally this position will be responsible for all regulatory aspects of the cyclotron and radiochemistry facility in the BRIC .
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
In accordance with 21 N.C. Admin. Code 46 .2702 candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and hold Board Certification in Nuclear Pharmacy ( BCNP ). The candidate must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina and meet the minimum training and experience requirements to be designated as an Authorized User (AU) under applicable state and federal regulations.

Experience with radiology radiochemistry research or related field.
