We are looking for a proactive and driven Financial Accountant Accounts Receivable who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of this role you will manage endtoend AR activities ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

A key part of the role will also include managing credit risk assessments and supporting order release decisions ensuring that commercial opportunities and financial governance are both maintained at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all tasks related to AR processes including customer payments (cash receipts and direct debit) customer correspondence (RightNow handling) maintaining customer master data and managing the collection/dunning flow.
Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting for AR activities including monthend quarterend and yearend close.
Support ongoing finance projects and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
Handle additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.

Perform credit risk assessments for new and existing customers in accordance with internal credit policies and guidelines.
Monitor customer credit exposures payment behaviour and outstanding balances to make informed decisions on order releases.
Evaluate and action credit blocks ensuring timely resolution to minimize business disruption while safeguarding financial risk.
Collaborate closely with Sales Customer Service and Finance colleagues to balance commercial needs with effective risk mitigation.
Identify customers with elevated credit risk escalate when necessary and recommend preventive or corrective measures.
Support improvements to credit management processes reporting and KPI tracking.

What you bring

SAP ERP experience is highly desirable.
Previous experience in a similar Financial Accountant or ARfocused role is considered an advantage.
Strong financial bookkeeping experience and understanding of AR processes.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work methodically prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborative approach to work demonstrating support for colleagues and willingness to seek assistance when needed.
Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred (Credit Risk Areas):

Experience in credit risk evaluation customer credit management or order release processes.
Strong analytical abilities for interpreting customer financial data credit behaviour and payment patterns.
