We are currently seeking a General Operator - Vinyl Floor Fitter to join our production team in Letterkenny. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical or assembly experience who enjoys practical work in a structured manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on the installation of vinyl flooring within modular buildings while also supporting general manufacturing operations as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Installing vinyl flooring within modular buildings.
- Using engineering tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Carrying out self-checks and completing required manufacturing documentation.
- Identifying and reporting defective or substandard components.
- Completing MTOs and supporting material ordering for allocated tasks.
- Maintaining a clean safe and organised working environment.
- Adhering to all Quality Health & Safety and Company procedures.
- Supporting team members and working collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
- Working overtime or attending site work as required.

Essential Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing production or industrial environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work to operating procedures
- Good attention to detail with a strong quality focus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A reliable safety-conscious approach to work
Desirable Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with electromechanical systems.
- Previous shift work experience.
