Job Title: Fortigate freelance Trainer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fortigate Network Security Engineer to manage configure and support Fortinet security solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Fortigate Firewall administration and network security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation configuration and management of Fortigate Firewalls
  

• Managing security policies VPNs NAT and firewall rules
  

• Troubleshooting network and security-related issues
  

• Implementation of IPS IDS SSL inspection and web filtering
  

• Monitoring firewall logs and security events
  

• Performing firewall upgrades and patch management
  

• Configuring site-to-site and remote access VPN
  

• Managing FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager (if applicable)
  

• Providing L2/L3 level support for security incidents
  

• Ensuring network security best practices and compliance
  

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Fortigate Firewall Administration
  

• Strong knowledge of Firewall VPN NAT Routing and Switching
  

• Experience with IPsec and SSL VPN
  

• Knowledge of network security concepts
  

• Troubleshooting skills in TCP/IP DNS DHCP and networking protocols
  

• Experience in log monitoring and analysis
  

• Understanding of security policies and access control
  

• Good communication and documentation skills
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
  

• Knowledge of SD-WAN on Fortigate
  

• Experience with other security tools like SIEM
  

• Scripting knowledge (Python/PowerShell)
