Overview
The Draft Technician delivers kegs to retail customers and services the keg system equipment professionally and courteously. Also this role ensures the placement of point-of-sale ( POS ) materials during account visits.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver kegs; place the merchandise in customer-desired locations
- Service keg systems; install and clean lines
- Train customers on keg installation procedures
- Identify sales opportunities; provide referrals to the sales team
- Monitor all-malt code dates to ensure freshness
- Set-up POS materials (e.g. coasters banners table tents etc.) during account visits
- Deliver hot shot items to on-premise accounts as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must possess a reliable vehicle a valid drivers license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Demands
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g. keyboard mouse and monitor) or mobile device
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking bending reaching standing squatting and stooping
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
- May require lifting/lowering pushing carrying or pulling up to 48lbs
This position is deemed a safety-sensitive position. As such any person who is given a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a
drug test.
