How you will make an impact:

Packaging Technician will assist with general packaging duties including preparing any completed product for shipping/delivery.

• Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product containers to be used and other packaging requirements.
• Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Starts adjusts and repairs packaging machinery or notifies maintenance department.
• Visually inspects product bags and labels finished filter packages.
• Prepares product for shipping and delivery using set guidelines for packaging specifications including shrink wrapping any necessary items.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo CA.

The skills and experience youll need:

• Packaging skills are trained by Meissner. No other training required.
• A personal commitment to ensure quality packaging standards is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record production results.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicants experience.
