Ambulatory Care at Penrose Home Health services a 60-mile radius from our office here in Colorado Springs. Our interdisciplinary team includes skilled nursing physical/occupational/speech therapy social work and CNAs. We care for a diverse population of patients aged 18 and above and deliver skilled care in the patients home environment. Skilled nursing addresses a wide variety of patient education such as medications and disease processes as well as direct skills including wound care ostomy teaching and IV/PICC infusion. We strive to deliver exceptional care and educate patients on how to manage their health conditions at home. Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assists the healthcare team in coordinating prioritizing and communicating patient physician and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
Education:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- Trade/Technical School
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Progran (required)
Minimum Experience:
- Six montha previous CNA or healthcare experience (prefered)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Certification (required)
Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Schedule: Full time (days)
