About the role
We are requiring availability with sleep overs and day program support worker.
Become a valued member of the Cooruler Care team as a Support Worker in Bundaberg this casual position you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals by empowering individuals to live independently working together towards their goals and enhancing their health and overall well-being. Your work will directly contribute to the quality of life of those you support.
What youll be doing
Provide personalised care and support to individuals
Assist with daily living activities such as personal care meal preparation and household tasks
Facilitate community participation and social inclusion by accompanying individuals to appointments activities and social events
Advocate for the rights and needs of the individuals you support ensuring they receive the best possible care
Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality person-centred support
Providing a holistic approach to individuals
What were looking for
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to promoting their independence and inclusion
Relevant qualifications in disability support community services or a related field or a willingness to work towards these
Experience in providing person-centred support with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with the individuals you support
A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to respond effectively to the changing needs of the individuals you support
A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation
Professional reliable and positive manner
