The Department of Infectious Diseases at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital is seeking a Faculty Member (Assistant or Associate) with research interest in infection biology and innate immune memory. We are seeking an outstanding investigator to lead an innovative research program in innate immune memory and its role in respiratory infections environmental exposures and asthma pathogenesis. This position is intended for investigators with a strong commitment to advancing discovery in the field of infectious diseases through innovative and independent research programs.
Applicants should have a strong record of high-impact publications competitive research funding and a demonstrated commitment to mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Candidates must possess:
An MD MD/PhD or PhD in a relevant biomedical or scientific field
Postdoctoral fellowship training or equivalent research experience
Demonstrated record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications
Evidence of potential or achievement in securing extramural research funding
Commitment to mentoring and fostering an inclusive training environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
