SSRS Report Developer

About the Role:

You will be working in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies to build printable reports using SSRS for the financial services industry. We are looking for true team players who can work beyond their specialty to help the team deliver. Every team member is responsible for the quality of the product and should be willing to work on any tasks needed be it report development database queries deployment automation etc. The successful candidate will use their experience and talent to help drive the delivery of the system introduce new tech and guide the evolution of our applications.

Job Duties in Brief:

• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as Pair ProgrammingSprint PlanningSprint ExecutionDaily ScrumSprint ReviewSprint Retrospective

  • Design and develop reports using SSRS

  • Design and develop database objects such as queries tables views and stored procedures needed for the SSRS Reports

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to a Citco need when required

About You:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent

  • Knowledge and basic experience with reports development using SSRS

  • Knowledge and basic experience in developing queries and database objects with RDBMS

  • Knowledge in utilizing charts on data reporting scenarios

  • Knowledge in utilizing advance SSRS reporting features (parameters sub reports conditional formatting)

  • Experience in PostgreSQL and JSON processing is an asset

  • Experience working on Agile teams

  • Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging code tuning and refactoring.

  • Must be self-motivated and driven with strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
