The Importance of the Role

The Medical Affairs & Information Summer Intern will play a critical role in expanding operational capacity during a high demand period for the Medical Affairs and Medical Information teams. This role provides hands on experience with core systems processes and scientific resources leveraged across the organization. The intern will support the optimization of Veeva Vault Medical strengthen the reference library enhance literature monitoring processes and assist with reporting and analytics.

This internship also offers an opportunity for department team members to mentor and develop aspiring medical information and medical affairs professionals while enabling additional bandwidth for time sensitive initiatives.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

In this internship you will help strengthen key Medical Affairs and Medical Information operations by improving scientific reference systems enhancing literature monitoring processes and supporting essential reporting and metrics needs. You will also have the chance to contribute to broader Medical Affairs initiatives gaining exposure to real world workflows and collaboration across functions.

Key areas of contribution include:

  • Improving the structure and accuracy of reference content within Veeva Vault Medical

  • Enhancing the Literature Alert Bulletin and supporting literature search processes

  • Assisting in streamlining reporting for Medical Information and review activities

  • Supporting Medical Affairs initiatives such as call center insights metrics training and audit readiness

More about You

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in life sciences pharmacy biomedical sciences public health or a related field.

  • Interest in Medical Affairs Medical Information or scientific communications.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to analyze scientific literature and summarize key findings.

  • Comfortable working in databases or content management systems (experience with Veeva Vault is a plus but not ).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proactive curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Program Timeline

This application is for a 12-week summer internship program that will start on May 18th and conclude on August 7th 2026.

This position is hybrid you will be expected to work on site at one of Sareptas facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $21 - $26 per hour depending upon years of education completed and nature of role.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
