Job Description
Are you ready for a new challenge Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! In this role youll make a difference by diagnosing repairing and performing preventative maintenance on commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. Youll be responsible for creating preventative maintenance schedules completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes and training store associates on the proper care and cleaning of equipment.
What Youll Do:
Perform minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures (e.g. plumbing electrical carpentry material handling equipment food equipment).
Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
Manage work orders and maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic documentation (e.g. expense vouchers weekly summaries work orders maintenance logs).
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years experience in maintenance (including plumbing electrical carpentry material handling equipment food equipment etc.)
Certification:
Hold a valid state-issued drivers license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
Eligible for a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
