Job Summary

Brown County Construction Company is seeking reliable hardworking Asphalt Laborers to support our paving and milling operations. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on asphalt experience who take pride in quality work value teamwork and want to build a long-term career with a stable reputable construction company. Experience working with GPS-controlled equipment is a plus but not required.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of physical tasks to support asphalt paving and milling operations
Assist with placing spreading raking and smoothing hot and cold asphalt mix
Patch potholes trenches and surface defects to ensure a smooth durable finish
Support milling operations including cleanup and material handling
Assist with installation of pipes drains and other roadway infrastructure as needed
Set up and maintain traffic control devices to ensure job site safety
Perform basic equipment service and routine maintenance
Work closely with crew members to maintain productivity quality and safety standards
Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience

Prior experience in asphalt paving and/or milling construction
Familiarity with GPS-guided or grade control systems (preferred not required)
Ability to use hand tools power tools and paving-related equipment
Strong work ethic dependability and willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
Ability to lift carry push and pull materials and equipment as required
Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends and occasional holidays
