We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer Summer Intern to support our operations teams in analyzing improving and implementing efficient manufacturing processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in process optimization problem-solving and working with cross-functional teams to enhance production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Collect analyze and interpret production data to identify areas for process enhancements
- Assist in designing testing and implementing process modifications or new production methods
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Support equipment layout optimization workflow analysis and process documentation
- Participate in safety quality and productivity improvement projects
- Document findings and present recommendations to engineering and leadership teams
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word); experience with CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks) is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Term: Monday May 4 2026 to Friday August 28 2026
Pay rate: $20 to $22.50 per hour
