Job Summary

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

As a Scrum Master / Delivery Manager you will drive delivery excellence for our core mainframe cards and transactions platforms ensuring predictable high-quality outcomes in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.

You will work closely with business partners developers Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) Quality Engineering (QE) and production support teams to manage delivery across online and batch mainframe systems supporting Online Banking POS ATM and related channels.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives
2. Manage end-to-end delivery including scope timelines risks dependencies and milestones
3. Coordinate delivery across mainframe development testing and production support teams
4. Proactively identify remove and escalate impediments and delivery risks
5. Track analyze and report on delivery metrics milestones and status
6. Support conversion initiatives audits and regulatory programs from a delivery perspective
7. Ensure strong alignment between business priorities and technical execution
8. Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices processes and team collaboration
9. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and IT partners
10. Provide support for after-hours releases or production activities when required (rare)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. 57 years of experience as a Scrum Master Delivery Manager or similar delivery leadership role
2. Completion of a post-secondary education
3. Strong leadership facilitation and communication skills
4. Proven experience delivering large-scale IT initiatives
5. Hands-on experience managing delivery for mainframe-based systems
6. Solid understanding of Agile hybrid and/or waterfall delivery models
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility 24/7 environment

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

1. Experience in banking payments cards or ATM platforms
2. Working knowledge of COBOL IMS DB2 JCL
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines in mainframe environments
4. Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM SAFe or equivalent)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
